3 Days Nam Ha Jungle Camp (NT-FC-03)Nam Ha NPA
Short Description:

Starting from Luang Namtha to explore the Nam Ha National Protected Area, you spend two nights at the forest camp, you will see and hear many different birds, monkey, barking dear, gibbon, wild pigs, jungle fowl etc… and enjoy the warm hospitality of the Khmu people.

Day 1: Luang Namtha-Nam Ha NPA Jungle Camp 1
You take a minivan or TukTuk to Ban Nam Ha (Khmu village) around 30 km, local guide from the village will join with you for leading you to inside the Nam Ha NPA, along the trail you will see many species of birds, birds called by an experience guide  and birds will supply them, your guide will teach you how to make a bird call, dear barking and squirrel sounds, see many types of NTPs (Non Timber Forest Products) and Your guides will share their experience about traditional medicines. Lunch is eaten in the forest shade near the stream, arriving in the jungle forest camp around 4 pm, easy walking in the jungle near the forest camp following the trail, searching animal footprints and other elements that prove the presence in the forest of many wild lives further bear, tiger, gaur, monkey, barking dear, gibbon, wild pigs, jungle fowl etc…dinner in the forest camp. Day 2: Nam Ha NPA Jungle Camp 1-Nam Ha NPA Jungle Camp 2
In the early morning you will hear a lot kind of animals scream from the higher mountain and nearly the camp. After breakfast you continue trek deep into inside of the Nam Ha NPA, lunch will be served you in the traditional way in the forest along the trail. The guides know how to boil water and make soup within vessels made of bamboo. They will encourage you to take part in the preparation of the meal, showing you how to construct simple spoons and chopsticks from leaves and cups from bamboo. They will also brew a medicinal tea from wild plants collected along the way. You will arrive at the camp two around 4 pm.

Day 3: Nam Ha NPA Jungle Camp 2-Luang Namtha
In the early morning you will hear a lot kind of animals scream from the higher mountain and nearly the camp; before breakfast take a short walk up to the mountain peak (approximately 12 meters) to see the sun rise, after breakfast you continues trekking inside Nam Ha NPA, about 5 hours, before you arrive in Ban Sinh Ou Dom (Sam Tao village) you will cross Namtha River by local boat, then get on a minivan or TukTuk back to Luang Namtha.
